Welcome to part 3

We will have 3 main sections to this part, with a few activities sprinkled in. There is about 60 mins of video content with some extra activities.

We will discover ways to focus, what to do when you can’t focus and ways to add some meat to your meditation practice.

There is also a collection of full meditations to explore and download at the bottom of the page. These are great to keep on hand to as you move deeper into your practice.

Ways to focus

Let’s get into it! Here we will discuss some of my favorite ways to focus at the beginning or during a meditation.

When focus isn’t working…

What are we doing in those moments when focus isn’t happening…. let’s discuss some of those options in this section.

(this is normal and it doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong or you’re not meditating)

Practicing the focus!

With this activity I am going to invite you into the struggle a bit. I encourage you to explore different ambiance sounds and practice a few of your favorite ways to focus from the last sections. You can find ambiance sounds on Youtube or Spotify.

(as you can see I didn’t share specific links. You can find them by doing a simple search on youtube or spotify)

*Explore different ambiance track like coffee shop sounds, outdoor playground, airport or ocean beach. Even city nights or restaurant.

*Sit in a local coffee shop or park and practice these ways to focus.

*Sit in a busy room in your house and practice these tools .

It’s ok if you meet resistance, that’s what we are here to explore, ways to focus when resistance and distraction arise. You may even find some of these ambiance sounds are soothing. A beautiful thing happens when we practice this over time. We learn to focus amongst the crazy, cluttered moments in life.
